ズーロジスト｜冷静な観察眼に支えられて具現化された動物たちへの畏敬の念
「ズーロジスト＝動物学者」の名が示すとおり、動物たちの独自の特徴を香りで表現することがコンセプト。動物という存在への尽きることのない探究心という衝動が生み出す香りは、非日常的で、美しく、面白く、時に衝撃的でさえある。それらの香りは、動物の生息地、行動、外見やその動物が持つ独特の匂いなどの固有の特徴だけでなく、観察者である人間との類似点や相違点という視点からも色濃い影響が見て取れる。動物たちの生態は私たちにインスピレーションを与え、人間のもつ根源的な本能とも共鳴する。人間にとっての「絶対的な他者」として存在する動物は、探求と敬愛の対象である。
動物を傷つけたくないとの倫理的理由から、天然の動物由来の香料の代わりに合成香料が使われていて、すべての香水には何らかの（合成）動物性香料が含まれている。これら革新的な香りは、一流の調香師たちとのコラボレーションによるもので、日本からは調香師の稲葉智夫氏が2種の香り（モスとナイチンゲール）を担当している。香港出身で香水のコレクターであったヴィクター・ウォンが2013年に立ち上げた、トロント発祥のカナダのパフュ―マリー。
